One smokin Granny!
Been a while. Good to back. Happy New Year. Blah, blah blah.
Anyway, I never had one of those grandmothers who would send me a check for, like, $12 on my birthday. Both my grandmas knew how to do it up right, and I still get $50 on my birthday and Chanukah from my surviving grandmother -- she's 85 and getting married in March.
But you know what, I think a pound or two of weed as a gift from granny, well, that would be one hell of a way to celebrate!
In other news, Todd A and I took in the new flick, "Catch and Release" last night. It's one of those romantic comedies, a total chick flick. But Kevin Smith has a major supporting role in the movie, and though we knew going in this movie would be garbage, we were willing to suck it up -- so to speak -- and watch the flick just for Kevin Smith's performance.
Let me just say, this movie is a bigger piece of shit than I expected. Even Jennifer Garner didn't look her best.
They'll let anyone make a movie these days.
Still, Kevin Smith's performance was great. So much so that it was worth sitting through nearly two hours of crap just for the scenes he was in.
The things I do for love.
